What is PriceDoc?
PriceDoc is a patent-pending, online bidding site for a wide variety of healthcare providers including all physicians, Cosmetic Surgery, Dentists, Vision Specialists, Chiropractors, MediSpas and Allied Health. PriceDoc enables a consumer to search for and select healthcare providers via a dynamic online, competitive bidding process, where doctors offer discounted prices and actually compete for your business.
Why Should I Use PriceDoc?
PriceDoc saves you money when seeking healthcare procedures, elective surgery or dental procedures, by enabling you to view doctors in your area who are willing to provide discounts for cash or credit card payments. Competition between doctors means better prices while giving you more control of your own healthcare decisions. PriceDoc provides the resources to investigate, evaluate and compare physicians' and dentists' total procedure fee, practice location, practice specialty, experience and other relevant qualifications before choosing to proceed.
What Does PriceDoc Cost the Consumer?
PriceDoc is a free online service that lets you search for qualified healthcare providers in your local area.
What About the Doctor’s Credentials?
PriceDoc requires providers to input their accurate information with regard to education, licensure, certification, hospital affiliation and contact information. Users can link to the State Department of Health to investigate more detailed information that is updated daily.
How Do Physicians and Dentists Price Their Services?
Providers will post prices for services offered. They have predetermined their discount level and conditions for which they apply. Users can accept posted prices, offer a lower price or name their price to the group of providers in a local search.
Fortunately, Healthcare insurance is not part of the PriceDoc's system. Physicians and Dentists offer discounted prices for procedures because the patient is willing to pay cash or with a credit card.
Is PriceDoc Available Nationally and Who Can Participate?
We have selected Seattle and the greater Puget Sound area as our launch market. We will be expanding PriceDoc nationally on November 1st. Healthcare providers across the nation can now sign up online.
Consumers must be of legal age, 18 years old. Minors under 18 will require the written consent of a parent or legal guardian before submitting information.
What happens when I Click to Reserve Price?
When you reserve the price posted, you access a savings voucher to present to the provider at time of service. At the same time, the provider is notified that you will be contacting them for an appointment. No payment is due to PriceDoc at this time. Payment is made directly to the provider at the time of service.
What if I do not know the procedure that I need?
If you do not know the procedure you need, select "Office Visit/Consultation". This way you can discuss further details with the provider at the time of your appointment.
What if I need more than one procedure?
If you need more than one procedure, simply reserve your price for each one and present all of your vouchers at the time of your appointment.
