For years the number of smoking Americans was slowly declining, until 2008 that is. Roughly 20% of the population, or around 46 million people, consistently smoke, whether daily or ever few days.
The plateau is attributed to economics, education, marketing, cultural factors and a lack of smoking bans in public places.

The FDA has concerns with the addition of caffeine in alcoholic drinks. “The FDA today told nearly 30 manufacturers of caffeinated alcoholic beverages that it intends to look into the safety and legality of their products,” reports WebMD.
The FDA has not approved the addition of caffeine in alcoholic drinks, so they sent out requests to the various companies who produce these beverages for evidence that caffeine can be safely added into alcoholic drinks.
