Because many parents are worried about the safety of vaccines given to their children, many parents are refusing to get their kids vaccinated at all. A vaccine was created 15 years ago to prevent chickenpox, but because parents are refusing to get their kids vaccinated, researchers “found that children [who were not vaccinated] were nine times as likely to get chickenpox,” reports WebMD.
