Health care is one of the main domestic issues President Obama faced in delivering his State of the Union address Tuesday night. Obama’s “”comprehensive health care reform” initiative appears to be traveling the same path that occurred under President Bill Clinton in 1993 and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2007. History does repeat itself,” reports Thomas E. Lorentzen from the San Francisco Chronicle. Lorentzen says that “comprehensive health care reform” might not be the best solution for the issue because a majority of Americans are comfortable with their current health care plan. He goes on to say that they do see that there are access and cost problems with medical insurance, but the idea of a complete health care overhaul comes with fears and uncertainties.
