Who isn’t looking to avoid cancer these days? A crucial tactic for skipping out on cancer altogether is by applying an anti-cancer diet to your regime. The American Cancer Society recommends eating at least five servings of fruits and veggies a day and eating the right amount of food to keep a healthy weight.

According to EverydayHealth.com researchers have found that that particular foods help fend off cancer better than others:

* Garlic- eat one clove per day
* Berries- extremely high in antioxidants
* Tomatoes- high in lycopene

According to KidsHealth.Org, kids break their bones a lot; which leads you to the question, are they getting enough calcium? Osteoporosis is a scary disease that affects many people, but can be easily avoided by changing the diet. Adding calcium enriched foods, vitamin D and exercise can keep those bones strong and healthy.
