Are you a carb-cutter? Well stop! Truth is, whole grain carbs work in your favor not against you.

According to Health.com, low-carb diets do not work, nutritionists agree that people literally crave carbs and if they are banned from their diet then it will backfire. There are five main reasons why low-carb diets are bad for you:

  • Do you like feeling sad or stressed? Didn’t think so… then don’t give up carbs. Carbs help make you feel happy, calm and focused on life.
  • Ready to get fat? Of course you’re not! But if you are cutting carbs then you’re probably stressed out which means you binge eat without even noticing.
  • Be reasonable. A lifetime of no carbs is just not feasible. You should stick to a diet which is easy to keep up with.
  • Nobody likes a bloated belly. National Institute of Digestive Diseases found bloating in the belly a symptom of constipation which is a side effect of a low-carb diet.
  • Who wants to feel deprived?? No one. Why live a lifetime of misery and deprivation?
