Worried about looking your best this summer? During this hot season you have to deal with sweat, water, sand, mosquitos and humidity.

According to WebMD.com, there are six ways to keep yourself looking beautiful whether you’re heading out to the lake, renting a beach house, hosting a BBQ or scuba diving in the caribbean.

  • Skip Foundation. Summer months bless our faces with a dewiness and color that allows us ladies to dismiss that heavy foundation for a while.
  • Choose less. Remember fellow women: the less make up you put on the less you have to worry about it sliding around. Try Perspectives AnyWear Multi-Purpose Makeup Stick SPF 15 at your local department store. To prevent smudgy mascara try Clarins Double Fix Mascara Waterproofing Seal which seals a watertight seal over your favorite mascara.
  • Need a tan fast? Try some bronzer! You can combine your bronzer with lotion or sunscreen and apply all over.
  • Tame it! Don’t let frizzy hair ruin your summer days. Try Living Proof No Frizz which will prevent humidity plus it is light weight.
  • Red, white and blonde? Blondes have more fun… right?! Add some highlights by using some blonde pumping shampoo like John Frieda Blonde Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo and Conditioner. After about two weeks you should notice a lighter change in your hair.
  • Want flip flop feet? Try an express spa pedicure by filing your nails, smooth your feet with a mixure of salt and lotion or olive oil, then push back your cuticles and finally, try shimmer polish – which helps you finish faster, yet still looks fabulous.

“In steamy weather, you’ll sweat through most makeup, even powders,” says Meredith Baraf, a makeup artist for Victoria’s Secret. Her advice: Switch to tinted moisturizer, or simply disguise any discoloration with a concealer or stick foundation.

Compare prices for microdermabrasion near your home.
