Ladies: tired of hiding your legs because of those dreadful spider veins? No more hide and seek to find those sexy legs! With summer only days away, doctors have come up with a minimally invasive procedure to have the legs you deserve.

According to NYTimes.com, the FDA recently approved a new solution called Asclera, which can be injected into the varicose veins to make them collapse and disappear. This new ‘miracle drug’ (aka sclerotherapy,) can treat anything from the tiny spider veins up to the bulging varicose veins.

Varicose veins can be developed by age, standing for long periods of time and/or genetics. Sadly, 87% of people with varicose veins do not seek treatment. If treatment is not sought, this problem can lead to pain, swelling, aches and heaviness from the blood which pools in the legs.

“We’ve known for a long time that polidocanol causes untoward events the least often,” said Dr. Nick Morrison, the president of the American College of Phlebology, a member organization for vein specialists. That means fewer cases of temporary brown discoloration or an open sore near an injection site as well as fewer cases of matting (when very fine red veins appear after treatment of another vein).

Ready to get rid of your varicose or spider veins? Find a doctor near you who can provide that procedure.

My grandmother still has trouble with blood circulation, so she tries to put pillows underneath her legs while she sleeps. She says it actually helps.

Your right. Many women need to seek a doctor’s counsel for varicose veins. Sometimes what appears to be “just varicose veins” is something much more and the woman may be experiencing deep vein thrombosis symptoms. So, it is good to talk to a doctor about the veins in legs you are seeing.

You’ll have a problem once you got varicose veins because they usually enlarge and worsen over time causing health problems including severe venous insufficiency. They say stockings may be remedy but they really cause me discomforts.
