According to WorlDental.org, several studies have suggested that drinking tea is a good way to keep your teeth clean because it attacks harmful bacteria in the mouth that can cause gum disease and cavities. However, other studies contradict this belief, and say tea has the opposite effect on teeth and can actually damage the teeth by eroding the enamel.

Some teas can be even more harmful than orange juice, which is very acidic and known to harm the teeth, and researchers say that these findings should act as a warning to people who drink herbal teas as a healthy alternative to other drinks in order to lose weight, reports WorlDental.org. Drinking a lot of herbal teeth can harm the teeth because it erodes the enamel, which is the hard, white, outer layer that protects the tooth.

Drinks that are healthy for you and your teeth are milk and water; milk makes the teeth strong because of the high calcium content and is safe for the teeth as long as no sugar is added.
