Most moms are doing two new things in 2010; trying to save as much money as possible and recycling. Now a new company called, RecycleBank will not only recycle your recyclables but they’ll earn you money!
According to MomLogic.Com, RecycleBank is being used in 20 states in the U.S. The recycle bins contain a computer chip that contains a code for each specific address. Points are earned by the amount of recycling that is done per household. The acquired points can earn gift cards for different retailers in their area. Various cities reported that recycling rates went from 3 percent to over 50 percent.
Businesses also have the option of taking advantage of using RecycleBank.
