U.S. Sen. John Cornyn says, “When the people of Massachusetts voted to send Scott Brown to Washington, they gave us an opportunity to produce the kind of health care reform that all Americans can support.” He says Americans want Republicans and Democrats to work on reform not behind closed doors, and to be clear about their plans.
Cornyn says that Congress must start over on health care reform and get rid of the plan that was negotiated behind closed doors. He says, “Republicans and Democrats can establish a transparent process and incorporate the best ideas from both parties. We can work on a bipartisan basis to achieve responsible, meaningful and affordable health care reform.”
Do you agree with Cornyn that Congress must start over?
