Neil Cavuto from Fox News feels that health care reform is still alive even though Senator Scott Brown (R) is heading to Washington. Cavuto says Democrats still have “plenty of weapons, because, for now, they still have plenty of seats in the House, and yes, in the Senate too. Enough to force just a simple majority vote in the Senate for health care, even if it gives Republicans fits.”
He says that Democratic leaders want health care reform so badly, and that it “isn’t a cause. It’s a mission.” Even though things are getting a bit rocky for Democrats, he says “they’ve never looked healthier.” Cavuto states that “health care reform is not dead,” and it’s not “even on life support.”
Do you agree with Cavuto that health care reform isn’t dead?
