Many couples come home from work everyday and the last thing on their mind is intimacy. Along with being busy there are several other day-to-day issues that can interfere with sexual activity.

Health.com has provided six ways to spice up your bedroom:

  1. Lots of sleep = #1 aphrodisiac
  2. Scope out your med cabinet- many prescription drugs can flatten your libido
  3. Breaking a sweat in the gym
  4. Shop til ya drop
  5. Check in with the doc
  6. Patience is a virtue

“Sex is like cooking,” says Suki Hanfling, certified sex therapist and founder and director of the Institute for Sexuality and Intimacy in Belmont, Massachusetts. “The end result can be delicious, but it’s important to savor the steps along the way.”

Don’t let frustration keep your sex drive down, figure out the root of the problem so you can have a lifetime of great sex with your partner!
