It seems like health-care reform negotiations are never ending and in order to solve the remaining issues, democratic leaders are still meeting with administration officials. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel… House speaker Nancy Pelosi told her colleagues “that they would have something they ‘can sink their teeth into’ by early next week,” states Modern Healthcare.

Thursday night administration officials got together to discuss the problems that remain, and they worked until the early morning. Rep. Chris Van Hollen Jr., a member of the House leadership team, stated that they have almost reached a solution in figuring out “how to structure the so-called insurance exchange, where private health plans would compete for customers,” reports Modern Healthcare. This structure hasn’t been an easy task for lawmakers trying to combine the House’s bill with the Senate’s.

What do you think about current health-care negotiations?
