Even though there are health concerns about the effect of cell phone radiation on the brain, a new study shows that there might actually be a benefit from cell phone use. Scientists performed a study on mice, and found that mobile phone radiation might shield against Alzheimer’s disease.

The mice involved in the study were genetically altered to get Alzheimer’s disease, and after being exposed to cell phone radiation for a couple of hours a day for a little less than a year, researchers found that their memories were protected. BBC News states that, “electro-magnetic field exposure could be an effective, non-invasive and drug-free way to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s disease in humans.”

If you think you or someone you know might be showing signs of Alzheimer’s, find a doctor in your area who can help.
