Traveling during the holidays? It always seems to start off exciting, right? How often, however, does it end with you pulling out your hair over lost luggage, delayed flights, or packed airports?

Could you imagine adding insomnia to the mix?

Health.com provides these helpful ways to escape holiday jet lag:

  1. Start taking melatonin
  2. Use lavender oil on your pillows
  3. Begin using Pycnogenol
  4. Talk to your doctor about prescription sleep meds
  5. Take a walk in the sun
  6. Adjust your alarm clock to the time-zones you’ll be traveling to before you leave

After drinking some tea, eating some herbs or spending a day in the sun you’ll fall right to sleep. Enjoy the holidays.

Need a doctor to help you with your sleep issues? Find one near your home.
