Feeling sad more often than not? You may not have depression but its younger, less severe brother… dysthymia. While it sounds worse that it might be, it could still be interfering with your life.
Dysthymia is a result of strange levels of seratonin in the brain. Different symptoms experienced are sadness, hopelessness, fatigue, trouble concentrating, changes in sleep habits, or changes in appetite. Some people with dysthymia can experience episodes of major depression, but there can still be periods of normalcy.
If you feel mild to moderate depression symptoms make sure to speak with your doctor. Learn more about this disorder from everydayhealth.com.
If you are feeling down, don’t let your frowns control your appetite…
