All Slim Fast canned products have been recalled due to the potential contamination of the bacterium Bacillus cereus. Both the FDA and Slim Fast websites have posted the official recall notice which “contains the usual “discard immediately,” “contact the company … for a full refund” advice. It also includes a list of the specific products being recalled,” reports the Los Angeles Times.
Don’t panic if you have consumed Slim Fast recently because this type of food poisoning is fast acting, and symptoms are relatively short-term.
