Have you ever been denied a necessary procedure or a medication because, even though you have insurance, the company won’t pay for it? Doctors are noticing their patients struggling.

Healthcare Finance News reports that “Fifty-eight percent of U.S. primary care doctors report their patients often have difficulty paying for medications and care, and half spend substantial time dealing with restrictions insurance companies place on their patients’ care, according to the 2009 Commonwealth Fund International Health Policy Survey, published online today in the journal Health Affairs.”
