It might come as a surprise, but a lot of the things that run through healthcare news every day are somehow involved with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which was put into law on February 17th – otherwise referred to as the Federal Stimulus Package.
Most of the federal “stim-packs” for medical providers are included under this Act.
However, it turns out that doctors seem to be out of the loop, reports HealthCareIT News – even though they could legitimately be penalized for not making a switch to EHRs.
